RESTON, VA. April 26th, 2019 – Cornerstones and the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce presented the 28th Anniversary of the Cornerstones of Our Community Best of Reston Awards at the Hyatt Regency Reston and formally recognized Synergy Design & Construction as a 2019 Best of Reston Honoree. The event was hosted by Julian M. Setian, President & CEO of SOS International, and generous proceeds from the event were gifted to Cornerstones. The event successfully raised over $500,000 to go toward Cornerstones and their mission to provide on-going support for those in need of food, shelter, affordable housing, quality childcare and much more.
While delighted by the honorable recognition, Mina Fies (CEO) stated, “It’s always been important to us to grow our impact within our local community just as much as growing the company”. She added, “That’s why it is such an honor to have our entire team be recognized for their countless hours and dedication to making a difference as a 2019 Best of Reston Honoree”(PRWeb).

We count ourselves extremely fortunate to have such a thoughtful and selfless team and are so honored to continue to support their efforts to serve our community as best as possible. Synergy Design & Construction will keep on serving others through the true spirit of volunteerism by participating in even more activities such as the Special Olympics, and collaborating with organizations, including Greater Reston Arts Center and ReStore.
