It’s been a whirlwind of a few weeks as our remodeling journey as the 2021 Pro Remodeler Model ReModel has officially begun. First up? Demolishing the primary bathroom and awkward dressing area (circa 1969).
As with many 50 year old homes, demo revealed small ductwork lines, poorly insulated walls, and although the ‘vintage’ beige-rose laminate hiding under the bathroom used to be all the rage, it just wasn’t going to cut it in our new contemporary design.
Stealing 1½” ft from the oversized bedroom allowed us to expand and completely reconfigure the primary bath and closet area.
