This lakeside single family home near Lake Anne in Reston was much-loved by the original owner, but it was ready for a complete home remodel. The new owners knew it had great potential and it provided the perfect opportunity to reimagine the floor plan and interior design throughout. Every room in the home on all four levels underwent a total transformation. No detail was overlooked in turning this late ‘60s home into a polished contemporary gem and the home is now unrecognizable from its former self.
On the main level, walls were removed to create an open concept with a gorgeous Chef’s Kitchen with a large waterfall island, walnut cabinets and top-of-the-line JennAir appliances. The design also featured a secondary prep Kitchen. In the Family Room, a cozy seating area was created in a little-used nook under the stairs. Phillip Jeffries “Waterfall” wallpaper makes a statement along one wall with new sliding glass doors that lead to the yard.
