Our clients have a spacious home with great outdoor entertainment space, but the Kitchen and Laundry/Mudroom were original to the house and the homeowners were ready for a complete change. The key to this remodel was to create transitional spaces with modern flair that seamlessly integrated with the rest of the main level and exterior spaces. In the Kitchen, we lightened things up with white perimeter cabinetry and a complementary blue island. A larger pantry and professional series range were also essential for the avid home chef.
The changes didn’t stop there. The once cramped Laundry and Mudroom which drove our client “nuts” because of the small space given the size of the home, also underwent a complete transformation. A larger room was created by moving the adjoining wall with Kitchen and using some of the square footage. It is now a “must have” modern space with tons of storage and a gorgeous tiled floor.
The result is family-friendly spaces that better reflect the aesthetic of the homeowners and say “Welcome!” to family and friends.
