One of the things we love about being a remodeler in Reston is being out and about in the community enjoying some of the many events the area has to offer and meeting our clients and friends. Reston really is a great place to live, work and play! Even better? When those activities involve one of the local lakes. This past weekend, we had a great day out on Lake Anne Plaza enjoying the Reston Historic Trust & Museum’s 3rd Annual Lake Anne Cardboard Boat Regatta.
With over 60 teams entered into this year’s race, the competition was fierce – but friendly! As one of the sponsors for this year’s event, it was great to see so many familiar faces taking part and to meet new ones. From big corporate names, to local businesses and schools, the imagination and creativity of the cardboard creations really impressed us. There was even a prize for the “Titanic” or fastest to sink.

You don’t get to be one of the best remodelers in Reston without having talented people on your team. We think we’ve got a few folks on our crew who are ready to take on the challenge of applying their design and construction skills to….. cardboard! So next year, Team Synergy may just take on some of the reigning champions!
